Variations: Red Base, Silver Base, Bobbing Head Box, Burbank, Regular Release
Price: $10-$15
Notes: Big Boy was produced in several versions including Variations and Exclusives. Big Boy was the first regular issued Wobbler from Funko. This particular Big Boy was mostly found in the Big Boy restaurants and when first released came in a box the said "Bobbing Head" instead of the pictured "A Funko Bobble-Head" box. His boxes have also been found with text variations on the back of the box, flatte painted Wobbler versions, glossy painted Wobbler versions, and a Silver-Base. When you put this Big Boy together with all his his Variations and Exclusives he probably would be close to the highest produced Wobbler to this day, if not the highest. Big Boy remains one of the few funko that Funko made that are classic existing Nodders of the past like Colonel Sanders, Reddy Kilowatt, Smokey Bear and Popeye to name a few.
Comments: Well, what can you really say .......but, please!!! No more different Big Boy's!!! Actually, every version of Big Boy has looked fantastic and some are a very tough find. I truly believe that the Burbank Big Boy will be a Top Notch Wobbler for many years to come. With it's availability exclusive to the Burbank Big Boy restaurant you would have to think that most of these never made it to the actual Wobbler collector's but instead to the average Bob's Big Boy restaurant visitor or even a tourist. Also noteworthy, Big Boy was the Wobbler that started Funko and the Red Base version was the absolute first Wobbler. Overall, every Big Boy is a great Wobbler because he is a classic nodder revisited. Plus, I am sure there are plenty of collectors of only Big Boy merchandise that have gobbled these up as well. Lets Get Wacky says, "He might not taste like a famous double-decker but you still might want to pick a couple up for your collection".
